Definition of Psychology:
ReplyDeletePsychology is the study of the human mind. It helps us understand mental illness and why people think they way they do. This year we will learn about mental illness, social influences, drugs and the mind, and how the brain develops in adolescence.
Personal Interests:
I'm looking forward to every subject. But mental illness interests me a lot because I have an anxiety disorder and know a few people with mental illness.

Psychology is the study of animal and human behavior. This study is tested through scientific research. We will be covering 4 topics in class this year, and these topics are: Gaining insight into behavior, psychological disorders, adolescence, and personality.

I am looking forward to studying personalities and adolescence. I have always been interested in this subject of psychology, and psychology itself.
Definition of Psychology: Psychology is the study of the brains behaviors and how it processes certaint situaton. Psychology dictates how everyone does what they do when they do it in response to waht they feel or do.

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to studying psychological disorders due to the fact that many people in my family has some form of psychological disorder. I am also looking forward to studying Chapter 10, memory and thought, because I have a terrible memory, as does a lot of people in my family so I am intrigued as to why this is. I want to learn more about Chapter 13, psychological testing, because, although I already know my Myer Brigg's personality, I would like to know more about it and how personality types change the way that people think and react to situations.

Psychology, by definition, is the scientific study of behavior and mental processes. Basically, it is the study of how people behave and react to different things due to the way they think. Four topics we will cover this year in this class are: learning and cognitive processes, personalities, individuality, and the psychology in social situations.
